Four lucky players will win a VIP package to the NASCAR Championship Weekend in Phoenix, AZ, from November 8 through November 10. On Sunday, November 10, the big kahuna, the NASCAR Powerball Playoff drawing for $1 million, will be televised nationally.
That VIP trip for two to the NASCAR Championship race is an exciting part of the prize package. Not only will the winners enjoy an action-packed weekend of NASCAR racing, but a dramatic finish to this weekend is the big NASCAR Powerball Playoff drawing! Nationally televised, this drawing is sure to bring Powerball players across the US to tune in to see which lucky semi-finalist will take home the big $1 million prize.
This year, 27 states are participating in the NASCAR Powerball Playoff drawing: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Powerball tickets are available and can be purchased at any authorized Powerball outlet, including grocery stores, gas stations, and convenience stores.
Just like the NASCAR playoffs, the elimination process for Powerball players will be the same as for NASCAR drivers. In NASCAR, the top 16 drivers earn eligibility to compete for the championship, with the bottom four drivers eliminated until the number of drivers decreases from 16 to four. These four drivers, also called the Championship 4, are vying for the title at the Phoenix Raceway race in November. Similarly, the NASCAR Powerball Playoff kicks off with 16 semi-finalists, and these semi-finalists will be reduced in elimination drawings from 16 to four, with those lucky four finalists winning the VIP trip to Phoenix to the NASCAR Championship Race.
Leading up to the big November weekend in Phoenix, the drawing results will be announced during select NASCAR races. Drawings kick off in September with the NASCAR Cup Series, CookOut Southern 500, at Darlington Raceway. Those eliminated from the list of 16 semi-finalists will not walk away empty-handed either. Based on their elimination position, these lucky folks will be awarded a cash prize from $2500 to $1 million! So, even non-winners become winners!
The excitement of NASCAR is contagious, with legions of fans tuning in or attending races. And that excitement just got bigger with the NASCAR Powerball Playoff drawing! It is as easy as grabbing your Powerball tickets and watching the qualifying NASCAR Powerball drawing races.
