As he approaches the counter, Johnson asks him, “you’ve bought your ticket, so what are you going to do with that money if you win?” The red tee-shirt man said his first order of business would definitely be to “get a supercharged Mustang with dual exhaust.” There’s not much that seems alarming about that response. Only, the red tee-shirt man isn’t done sharing how he’d spend his newfound wealth should his numbers be the jackpot winning numbers.

If you watch the interview online directly and you’re not paying attention to the red tee-shirt man’s response, you might miss it. But right after he tells reporter Kori Johnson about his plans to buy a supercharged Ford Mustang, he goes on to also say he’d buy “about five kilos of cocaine.” Wait, what? Yes, he did just say that on live television. And he’s now the brunt of hilarious tweets and memes for being brutally honest in front of the world.

Kori Johnson was undoubtedly floored at the response she got from the red tee-shirt man. But she pivoted well and tried to smooth over the on-camera faux-pas.
